“I‘ ve known Lauretana water for several years and since I studied its chemical-physical properties and physiological effects, I usually recommend it both for weight loss and athlete diets. I also recommend it to my women patients because a water with such a low solid residue ensures an excellent water exchange and stimulates diuresis, getting rid of sodium in excess and helping in the struggle against the so-called cellulite (Edematous Fibro Sclerotic Panniculopathy – E.F.S.P.).
Even those patients who normally complain about the difficulties of consuming the required daily quantity of liquid , are able to drink the right amount of water, thanks to its characteristic lightness. I myself use it daily for its indisputable organoleptic properties“.

“I use Lauretana and advise my patients to use it: I recommend them to integrate its use during the meals with an abundant drinking when they get up in the morning. The night, in fact, is the longest period of abstinence from solid and liquid food and in the morning, on waking up, drinking about half a litre of water makes it possible to get an intensive physiological process of purification underway. The extraordinary scarcity of solid residue enables LAURETANA to be absorbed virtually immediately; this accomplishes an effect similar to that of an intravenous infusion by phleboclysis. The tendency to find quickly a balance between solvents (water) and solutes (proteins, metabolic waste materials, nitrogenous residues such as urea and ammonium, uric acid) makes it possible for the latter to enter the blood stream and undergo renal filtration that, enhanced by the increase of liquid flow, excretes the metabolic subproducts with the urine, thereby effectively cleansing the organism. A high-tech gift from nature to safeguard and promote people’s health”.

“To understand the importance of water in an athlete’s life, just consider that human organism is constituted by water for almost two thirds of its body. Moreover, during the performance of a moderate physical exercise, sweating determines the loss of about 1-2 litres per hour and, in particular climatic conditions (hot and moist conditions), this quantity increases.
That is the reason why the protection of an athlete’s health begins with a correct rehydration, for example drinking at least 2-3 litres of water per day. The organoleptic and chemical-physical properties of LAURETANA, thanks to its low solid residue (14 mg/l), slightly acid pH (5.8) and low sodium content (1.1 mg/l), make it a mineral water highly recommended for abundant daily consumption. Its properties, in fact, promote an optimal kidney function and facilitate the digestive processes, thereby contributing to quickly restoring the metabolic homeostasis in the athletes of endurance at the end of their intensive training sessions“.

“Kidney stones account for 15-20% of nephro-urology diseases. The hydropinic treatment with oligo mineral water is of essential importance in kidney stone prevention programmes and relapse prophylaxis.
In this sense, it has been ascertained that the need is at least 2 litres of water distributed over the course of the day. The lower is the mineral content in a water, the greater will be its efficacy in preventing the formation of kidney stones.
Thanks to its ion composition, with an extremely low salt content and minimal concentration of minerals ( solid residue of only 14 mg/l), LAURETANA mineral water belongs to the group of waters that may be classified as minimally mineralized.
Accordingly, it is indicated in those cases requiring an appropriate and correct water supply prevention, especially in people who are metabolically predisposed, and in the prevention of relapses after a treatment”.

“The solid residue is the quantity of minerals, expressed in milligrams per litre, that remain in 1 litre of water after evaporation at 180°C. The lower is the residue, the lighter is the water. A light water is more beneficial to the organism since it favours a faster water exchange and diuresis.
The total hardness of a water is expressed in French degrees (F°) and it indicates the quantity of calcium and magnesium salts contained in it. The lower is the degree of hardness in a water, the more it is classified as “soft” and should be preferred to “hard” waters, which are contraindicated in numerous pathologies, such as kidney and liver stones. With a total hardness of just 0.37°F, Lauretana has no contraindications for daily consumption.
As for sodium, mineral waters with a low sodium content should be preferred. Accordingly, with its sodium concentration of 1.1 mg/litre, Lauretana is optimal in low-sodium diets and has no contraindication in people suffering from arterial hypertension“.

“We are often led to believe that water is important in human nutrition because of the minerals contained in it. In fact, the function of the water is vital for: hydration of the tissues, transport, purification and thermoregulation. To accomplish these tasks more effectively, the opposite is true : purity and lightness of a water – that is the low quantity of minerals – are the most suitable characteristics for these processes. In fact the supply of minerals is brilliantly accomplished by the plant world, that, with fruit and vegetables, provides plenty of salts, in readily assimilable form.
The value indicating this quality of the water appears on all water labels and it is the solid residue at 180°C.
This important value should be lower than 30-40 mg/l and at any rate, the lower it is, the lighter is the water and more effective in cleaning the organism. Another consideration that should guide us in selecting our “ideal“ water is its pH: a slightly acid PH, between 5.5 and 6, definitely helps digestion”.

“The choice of drinking water for the preparation of infusions is important : it must be an oligomineral water with a low mineral content , that is with a solid residue as low as possible, at any rate below 30 mg/l, with little sodium and a slightly acid pH,lower than 7.07 and preferably included between 5.5 and 6.5. A water possessing these characteristics is ideal for our organism. Besides drinking it, it may safely be used for the preparation of infusions, soups, newborn and baby food, mineral salt supplements for athletes, etc.
The water I have selected for my own use and that I recommend to my patients and friends is LAURETANA. A pure mountain water, with suitable characteristics for our daily liquid requirements.
It is extremely light, with very little sodium and a slightly acid pH. Ideal for cleansing our bodies of toxins, with its pH, it facilitates the digestive process.
Undeniably, all this helps improve our wellbeing and longevity.
I advise all patients and readers of my book “The food revolution – The Secrets of longevity“ to eat fast food far from slow food , to drink a water with a low solid residue, such as LAURETANA, and to live in an environment with a low degree of electro-magnetic pollution”.

“Drinking plenty of water in the course of the day is a basic rule for the health of our body.
It is important for the water to have a solid residue at 180° C as low as possible (<30mg/l) and a slightly acid pH (<7). The best water in every respect, with a solid residue of 14 mh/l, is LAURETANA.“

“To facilitate drainage, it is essential to drink plenty of water, from 1.5 to 2 litres a day. But not just any water! There are very few mineral waters on the market today that are able to meet the needs of a population living in a badly contaminated environment. One of these waters is LAURETANA, from the Biella Pre-Alps region. The outstanding quality of its bioelectronic values surpasses by far the other waters available on the market. It is rated as the best in the dietology, hospital and paediatrician environments.“
